This week I was talking with our son about upcoming events at his school and how I may not want to attend one on December 16th.
When he asked why not I explained it is the day of his sister Noelle’s birth and I didn’t know if I will want to do anything social on that day.
Again, he asked why not. I said that Noelle would have been one year old on the 16th and it’s sad because she’s not with us.
Then our son said December 16th is the 1 year birthday of her soul.
Our son has the most kind, loving heart, and says beautiful and profound words. He has such a light way of looking at the world at times and I appreciate it more than I can say.
That’s right kiddo, it will be the 1 year birthday of Noelle’s soul. A day to celebrate and remember.
