I said something last night to a grieving parent that resonated with myself too. ‘They were with you for their whole life.’
We never know how long life will be, for those we love that we lost, they were with us for their life.
What hurts most is when that loved one we’ve lost is our child. That life was cut short for whatever reason, and no it’s not fair. It just is.
Remember to be gentle with yourself as you move from season to season in grief, and that you’re not alone.
