In Memory of my Grandmother, August 31st 2021

In loving memory of an incredible woman, my grandmother, Alberta Lichte. She passed peacefully in her sleep this morning, August 31st, 2021.

Words can not describe how truly important she was in my life and while I’m heartbroken she is gone, she’s also no longer in pain.

I have known my grandmother my entire life and used to see her every week growing up. She and my Grandpa Lichte lived so close to my childhood home and I was blessed getting to see them as often as I was able.

Over the years and since we moved we cherished our time together even more. Grandma loved being a part of the family, being a grandmother and adored all her three of her great grandchildren. Grandma was lucky to get to watch Bond grow up and be a part of his life for the first seven years.

When I asked Bond what his favorite part of his visit was last time we were all in town, he said it was seeing Grandma. Oh my heart how I wish he had more time with her before she passed.

And as tears roll down my cheeks while I write this I am comforted knowing how many loved her. I like to believe she is now reunited with my Grandfather and her family, and at peace.

Thank you everyone for your support while my family prepared for her death. It’s been a long two months in and out of the hospital and care center. Her health declined quickly and I’m still trying to process everything as I’ve been helping on her behalf.

Once we know what arrangements will be I will share that with loved ones and those who wish to pay they respects.

During this time of mourning I can’t help but feel even more sad after losing our Noelle Alberta Hope last December, and now losing my Grandma Alberta. I will be taking a few days off of social media so I have the time needed to help my family while we grieve.

All my love! ❤️ And to family, let’s keep in touch and see each other as often as possible. Bond especially would like this and asked if this is possible. Sending my love to you! 💓

In loving memory of Alberta Lichte. May 4th, 1932 - August 31st, 2021.
