Day 2 of World Breastfeeding Week. This photo was taken during our vacation this past month. Visited with family and got to experience flying, being in another state and having challenges while pumping away from home.
This journey has taught me first hand about how challenging pumping can be. The dedication it takes to exclusively pump, I admire these parents more so after having walked this path.
Through countless clogs, after mastitis, cracked nipples, and other aches and pains. This has been an experience of healing while grieving and a lot of love.
I only wish our daughter was here with us. My heart and arms still ache and miss her every moment. I’m grateful I decided to walk this path, it wasn’t easy and often at first it hurt my soul, however, it brought me here and for that I’m thankful.
