Day 1 of World Breastfeeding Week. A week that has meant a lot to me for the past six years. I was able to pump and breastfeed my son for 4 years, had plans to breastfeed our daughter, and currently still pumping and donating in Noelle’s memory. It’s been a journey and one that has brought me much healing and peace.
Here I am, about 7.5 months later. I have dedicated what feels like endless hours and onces, multiple babies have received liquid love from all across the state of Missouri. I’m thankful for what my body has been able to do.
This is for you my precious Noelle, this is for me to help me heal, this is for each child I’ve been able to help nourish with your milk. Human milk is truly a gift filled with nutritional benefits, comfort and connection.
