Today I went to the Wyandotte County Lake after picking up my butterfly photograph I had submitted in the Insect Photography Contest at the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library Mr. & Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library for their Butterfly Festival they have each year.
It was such a beautiful day and peaceful. Was nice to get out of the car to walk around and take in that moment with our miracle rainbow baby. I captured a few photos and then took a deep breath of air to take in the moment once more before leaving.
This is the afternoon I needed after talking about our appointment from yesterday. Sometimes I just need to take a mental break from it all, it was quite a long drive however worth it.
Today is also the Wave of Light during Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. Today I remember and honor our 9 angels who we lost too soon. Our babies who were lost early on and our identical twin daughters we lost mid way to term from TTTS (Twin Twin Transfusion Syndrome).
May our angels visit us on the wings of butterflies, sparkle like stars in the night sky and send us snowflake kisses during winter. Forever and ever living in our hearts precious babies. We will never forget you. <3
