On days where my heart needs reassurance I listen to our baby's heartbeat on our home Doppler. I have had this for over eight years now and first used with our identical twin daughters. This has also been used for our rainbow son and been loaned out multiple times. So this Doppler has heard many precious heartbeats in it's day.
I know many parents may feel connection with their child when they listen to heartbeats at home. Using a home Doppler isn't recommended by all professionals however I feel if this is something that helps bring you peace, then there isn't harm in doing so. A few minutes of listening to the melody of your child can help ease your heart.
